The JanSport brand is practically synonymous with backpacks for students of all ages from elementary school to college. In fact, some 60 to 70 percent of its products are sold each year during the Back-to-School retail season. While JanSport will always cater to this loyal customer base, it\u2019s also building out its product offerings in alignment with the company\u2019s values of inclusivity, sustainability, and community.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Case in point: In January 2023, the company introduced its Adaptive Collection, which brings together JanSport durability and style with specific functionality to help individuals who are mobility challenged.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to make JanSport inclusive of all customers,\u201d said a JanSport Ecommerce Project Manager, \u201cand a backpack for wheelchair users was not something readily available in the market.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The collection includes an Adaptive Backpack, featuring hassle-free adjustable loops and anchor straps for customization and a secure fit. An adjustable top handle secures to a head rest via a slide-release buckle.
